VALLEY OF THE DEAD

His passion for cinema led him to study at ESCAC (Escuela de Cine y Audiovisuales de Cataluña) and graduate with a degree in sound.
He began his career at the Sonoblok studio in Barcelona. There he came into contact with two of his first references, the mixers Ricard Casals and Marc Orts.
In 2011 he joined sound designer Oriol Tarragó’s team as assistant sound editor, working on titles such as The Impossible and Enemy. Since then, Tarragó has been his greatest mentor and point of reference.
At the same time, at the age of 23, he began his career as a sound designer on Spanish films such as Alejandro Marzoa’s Somos Gente Honrada, for which he was nominated for best sound at the Mestre Mateo awards for Galician cinema.
From that film to the present day he has captained as sound designer the sound of a multitude of feature films.
In 2013, after collaborating intensely with Oriol Tarragó, he and Albert Ribas founded Coser y Cantar estudio, a company of which he is a partner to this day.
Since 2015 he has been teaching sound for cinema at ESCAC and since 2018 he is the head of the department of this field at the same school.
